As we head into August, here are some of the exciting things going on at Oak Ridge, while we continue the development of this beautiful new community. At the main entrance trucks and heavy equipment are hard at work, as power and gas installation is brought into the community. The joint trench throughout the community (which will carry power, gas, and communications to all the homes) is well underway, and the pipes can be seen as installation continues. Underground setting of the many huge cement vaults (which will contain utility connections), are ongoing this month.

Also, an example of a completed home pad preparation, brings to reality just how close we are to the beginning of setting brand new homes. The first photo shows the rough layout (with the driveway on the left), while the second photo shows the beginnings of a home foundation. This example will finalize the process for final inspections, as well as making ready for the first of the 17 Phase 1 homes to be brought in.

As we continue our conservation and environmental efforts, we are repurposing the trees removed during the project. These trees are chipped up, and will be used as the bark for all the beautiful landscaping throughout the community. We leave you this month, with a peek at the location for the new clubhouse. The building of the new clubhouse is expected to begin the first part of September. Amenities such as a Fitness Center, Kitchen, Event Space, BBQ Area, with a Pool and Spa, will make this area a special attraction.
